The Arena di Verona Opera Festival is started this year its 88th edition: ‘Franco Zeffirelli and the Arena’ is the subtitle for the 2010 Opera Season, which is completely dedicated to the great italian director.

In our shop you will find operas signed by the famous florentine director on the DVD "Madama Butterfly" with the wonderful costumes by Oscar winner Emi Wada and DVD "Carmen" with the magnificent ballets of Seville.

On 18 June, at the premiere, a magnificent Maria Guleghina sings the role of Turandot, you can also find DVD "Nabucco" in the role of Abigaille, and with Marco Berti in the role of Calaf, that you can find both in the DVD "Carmen" in the role of Don Jose, that in the DVD "La Gioconda" in the role of Enzo Grimaldo.

On June 19, also returns to the Arena queen of summer: Aida, starring the evergreen Dolora Zajick in the role of Amneris and in the role of King Carlo Striuli you can find both the DVD "Aida"

You can see all the opera Madama Butterfly in our DVD. The protagonist is Carlo Ventre and you can hear the wonderful voice on the CD "Tosca" in the role of Cavaradossi.

August 10 also returns Carmen and you can find in the 2003 edition (this summer is a repeat) in our DVD "Carmen". Fiorenza Cedolins is the protagonist with Mcaela. Do not miss on the DVD "Madama Butterfly" where she played Cio-Cio-San and the DVD "Tosca" in a beautiful Floria Tosca.
